"Cranky" biker

Ok... So I am behind in my correspondance!
My bike is actually built, and I will be adding a picture soon!
Lets talk about my crankset...
As you know from my previous posts, I absolutely love Crank Brothers items.
I purchased a Crank Brothers Crank and a TI bottom bracket and had both installed
on my Niner bike. When I finally purchased wheels, I had the rest of the bike assembled (deraillers, shifters, etc).
The Shimano chain was attached, and the Crank Brothers Crank had such a bad "whoop" (whoop as in a wave, or lack of trueness) in it that the chain would hit the inner side of each end of the front derailler as the pedals were used. I felt like pooh when i saw this! there was no way to use the crank as it was installed. Crank Brothers admitted that the have had a problem with it, and were very cool about taking the part back. It was a minimum of two weeks for me to get a replacement. I ended up going with a Shimano M970 Crank....

Here is a Pic:

I am very pleased with the crank, and know that this is a reliable product. I was hoping for something a little "unique" as far as out on the trails... But, I have the reliability of a company that has been doing this for a long time.
