Diggin the DALMAC

Day One
Beautiful weather, and the first night was spent at CMU in Mt. Pleasant.
The best food of the whole event was on this first stop.
A tent city was erected that night, with a lot of "butt crack of dawn"
early risers the following morning. Everyone in the event was really cool.
500+ can sure lay some damage on the showers and washrooms!

Day Two
This was the toughest day for me of the entire trip.
The scenery and ride were both pretty flat.
I had this nagging thought the entire ride that I wasn't even halfway through
the whole event.

Day Three
I woke up a little concerned about the day ahead-
I was told the remainder of the ride just involved more and more hills.
The ride was great. I was no longer cursing myself for signing up for the event.
About half way through, I started to notice a sore right achillies...

Final Day
The final day was incredible.
Beautiful scenery, incredible hills... and THE WALL.

Here is a picture of the DALMAC day Four WALL:

Since returning back home, I have been nursing a bad case of Achillies Tendonitis - but it was worth it. I would definately recommend the DALMAC for any rider... The only fear I would have is if the weather didn't cooperate!
